Frail Towers
© By Anonymous
I'm proud to be American
We eat a lot, laugh a lot, talk a lot, and dream a lot
Many want to be an American
So they too can enjoy what we got.
My family came to a land of peace
Where there reigned freedom and liberty
I was still young and did not see
The blessing of living in a land so free
But two years this day many died
And still they're yet to be justified
What God does is always good
And a lesson is to be learned
Live in unity and brotherhood
A calling from where the towers once stood.
My family came to a land of peace
Where there reigned freedom and liberty
I now am old enough to see
The blessing of living in a land so free
And two years this day many died
But I believe they will be justified
God loves us all and never fails
He'll prove to all His power
And that America is not as frail
As its perished towers
