September 11th,2001
The day so many lives ended, and for us it had just begun
Driving to work thinking about the day ahead
In that exact moment thousands are dead
Mothers, fathers, daughters, and sons
Just regular people who belonged to someone
Beginning their day just as I
Only for them it was the day they were made to say goodbye
In the name of religion?
In the name of hate?
What right did you have to choose their fate?
Brave warriors of Allah you declare to be
But murder and suicide is all that I see
The courageous are the soldiers who fought to their last breath
And the brave are the souls who you forced to face death
The lives you have taken were not yours to take
And in the end My God will choose your fat
