The Lonely One

I am alone and sad.
My name does no one know.
My parents should be glad,
But that they never show.
I never play, I only study.
I have few friends to call mine.
When I'm in need, I call on my buddy.
Through them I can always shine.
I am alone for I cannot cast
Someone for me to love and to love me
It's my fault for I am stuck in the past
Now I can't even plea.
What do they call me, they that aren't my friends,
Nothing, I am no one.
They call me a nerd for I cannot keep up with the trends.
I am alone.
