Bruised Forever

Bruised Forever

She smiles at his joke
With the drink in her hand
Her body is bruised
From the back of his hand
No smile can fix it
The pain he has caused
The anguish and grief
The sanity she had lost

She fell again
She says with a smile
But her eyes
They beg and plead
Some one come save me
She stayed out till 10
Her violent but cozy den
He’s waiting in a chair
Ready to pull her hair

New bruises arrive
On her face and on her thighs
Insults and Smashes
Thrashes and Crashes
A maniac man bruising his wife
Till he cant hurt her
Anymore,
since she died in the night
But will always be bruised
Forever.
