The things I should have said,
The feelings I should have shown.
I kept them all inside,
From them now I have grown.
I’ve learned to say ‘I love you,’
Before it is too late.
I’ve learned to show emotion:
Love, happiness, sadness, and hate.
I regret not telling the truth,
About your importance to me.
Because I’ve grown from my mistake,
You’ve set my spirit free..
