When you find a friend, you say “wow”,
Thinking this friendship will never bow.
You go places, you share the phone,
Believing you’ve found your personal zone.
But the day comes when they deceive,
Finding new friends they’d rather receive.
They leave you alone, discarded like a bone,
Your friendship thrown carelessly, your trust overthrown.
So pick your friends with utmost care,
Or face the risk of desolate despair.
Those friends may leave, leaving you alone,
Lonely, used, thrown like a dirty bone.
