I Do Love You!

I Do Love You!

I wrote this poem for you, my dear, keep in mind,
It is a verse of my love, of a different kind.

More like a pear, we both agree, alas.

Keep your temper at bay, my dear, still in mind,
This is a poem about love, not unkind.

Stop flinging things around, my dear,
This is a poem about love, keep no fear.

Despite not having the smallest waist, perfect eyes, makeup and more,

My love is still, yes, absolutely true,
When I am around you, my heart beats anew.

Feel light as feather, touch the heavens so high,
The right words to describe, make me sigh.

Because when I am around you, so near,
The need to touch, to hold you, is clear.

I DO love you, and for
