I Love You All

I Love You All

I have lived to love, and loved to live,
But when the love is gone, will my life give?
My heart is filled with love and joy,
It beats with every stroke, every laughter’s employ.

My family and friends are the reason I live,
When they all move on, will my life forgive?
Every holiday, every moment I see them,
Piece by piece my heart can stem.

It’s like a puzzle, my heart you see,
Every person a piece, as it came to be.
And every piece creates the puzzle full,
As the years go on, I feel the pull.

I grow older in age, lose a piece, still live,
I’m still alive until the last piece struggles to forgive.
When that piece is gone, I’ll miss you all,
For my heart stops beating, hears life’s final call.

For this reason I tell you now, so clear and tall,
Every salty tear, every whining weep, is just a call.
A cry from inside, trying to convey,
I LOVE YOU ALL, every single day.
