On the day he had to leave,
Of peace quickly be resolved we plea,
To send back home the soldiers brave,
To their loving family’s we do pray.
The wife helps her husband get ready to go,
Supporting him for she loves him so,
She stands beside him as he stands for his country,
upon a solid foundation the soldier’s do stand,
To go off and fight for peace That’s her Man.
She prays for his safety everyday,
And waits for when she’ll hear him say,

We have come and fought for what we believe,
