Mother

Mother

Your heart’s as big as the deepest sea,
Strength and courage, they echo in thee.
Your mind, sharp as a double edge blade,
Speaks through the air, life’s song played.

Your arms, a haven, when life’s hard to endure,
In your shelter, I am secure.
From world’s dangers, you’ve kept me at bay,
Helped me become the woman today.

For all this, I hold truth in my tether,
You’re God’s gift, you are my Mother!
