Oh How I Wish My Hair Was Black

Oh How I Wish My Hair Was Black

My life is in a whirl,
All because of one girl
That I can’t get out of my head.

I toss and I turn from left to right,
Think about her every single night,
Sacrificing the comfort of my own bed.

Maybe I would have just one chance,
Only if I had some stylin’ pants,
That were any other color than the color red.

Sadly, the only time she ever talked to me,
Was when in geometry I asked her to see,
And she replied, Sorry, but you’re a redhead!

That’s when I wished, with a hearty laugh,
I wish – oh I wish, my hair was black.
