One Cold September Day

One Cold September Day

This one cold September day,
Where thousands of people pray.
In the year 2001,
People’s lives were done.

When two planes crashed,
Peoples lives flashed.
The Twin Towers fell,
I can still hear the ring of the Liberty Bell.

On that cold September day,
There was only one way.
To jump from the buildings’ towers,
Or throw away your powers.

Thousands of people died,
Some even cried.
I wish it wasn’t done,
In the year 2001.
