As we journey on life’s road,
Many friends and treasures we will hold.
Things of Earth we cannot take,
As we enter through the gate.
The miles ahead will be long and weary,
But the road we take will be worth the wait,
As we enter through that gate.
We must help others along the way,
To relieve the stress and pressure of every day.
Friends and loved ones you will find,
On heaven’s great divine.
Do not hesitate with gestures of love,
For God alone knows the time and place,
When you enter through the gate.
