Tonight I saw at sunset
The love shine in your eyes.
Your caring makes my whole world
A perfect paradise.
I would not live without you;
You make my life worthwhile,
I’d walk on through a desert
To feel your precious smile.
But where’er you chance to be,
You’re never far from me.
I have but to close my eyes
Your loving face to see.
Who designed this precious gift,
The love that we now share?
What God creates this beauty
And leaves it in our care?
I thank Him a hundredfold,
